Good Night, Sweet Dreams, Pixi…
The moment we got together with Carlsen on their Pixi app project we knew we were in for something special. Building out a new subscription platform for such a successful brand and series of books was a central part of the development process and discovering that this short form audio can be used for Carlsen in many different contexts such as interactive apps, streaming platforms, give these stories the form of music tracks with their 4-5 minute of length.
Relationships are Everything - Thoughts on People Back in the Real World
Just as in our personal lives, relationships matter a great deal to us all in business. You might say the effect of these past few years on us at home and at work is that those relationships are actually everything. From how our business lives go on day to day, right up to the strategic developments and key moments where a business gains strength, stability and starts to see a path forward for clients and staff to engage in deeper conversations - these are some of the things I’ve been thinking about recently.
Navigating Digital Subscriptions - Skyship’s Journey with WunderBox
We have had the pleasure to work with the team at Skyship since early 2019 when they created the first iteration of their Super Simple app and designed a new legendary spin wheel interface for very young kids. Over the years, we have supported them and watched them develop into new areas of content publishing including interactive books, games and extra support material for parents.
Making it Through.
Investment in any company is a hard-won journey, full of doors opening, then closing, of dead ends and new paths forward. In the end, much of what goes on is about the people gathered to work together on their ideas;the long hours put in to bring a viable business out into the world and then, of course, how the world takes to this offering, accepts or rejects its promise.
